About Beth

Beth Bowers, a native Texan, owns Power To The PawZ Pet Services & Education and Pawzitive Empowerment Academy (formerly known as Texas Pet CPR & First Aid Education.)

Beth is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and one of only 13 Pet Tech Master Instructors in the world! She has been teaching for Pet Tech for almost 16 years and has more than 25 years of experience in veterinary medicine, canine nutrition, canine behavior and training, dog daycare/boarding, and facility management.

Beth has an immeasurable passion for speaking and educating pet parents and pet professionals. She is also a Canine Colors Team Leader & Coach and is working on becoming a Licensed Family Paws Parent Educator, Spring 2024! She has spoken at countless conferences, written articles in national magazines and taught thousands across the country. We are excited to bring her knowledge and passion to your area!

About Leon

Leon Kilmer, originally from Nebraska, now resides in Maryland! He is the CEO of Paws 4 Fun in Nebraska, an amazing indoor Dog Park, Daycare, Training, Grooming and Boarding facility that hosts amazing events and dog sports! Leon is a Certified Pet Tech® Instructor and has been teaching since 2017. His first Pet First Aid class was with Beth, back in 2015, and they have taught many classes together at conferences over the years. Leon is the life of most parties and enjoys being a DJ and an emcee at many dog and non-dog events! His energy is infectious and sense of humor brings a lot of fun to his workshops, but his military background and experience in business add layers to the very serious subjects we teach!
